Ubuntu Installation

  1. sudo apt-get install python-software-properties
  2. sudo add-apt-repository ppa:juju/stable
  3. sudo apt-get update
  4. sudo apt-get install juju-quickstart juju-core
  5. juju quickstart u/spicule/saiku-basic-mariadb

Centos Installation

  1. wget https://launchpad.net/juju-core/1.25/1.25.3/+download/juju-1.25.3-centos7.tar.gz
  2. tar xvfz juju-1.25.3-centos7.tar.gz
  3. cd juju-bin
  4. ./juju quickstart u/spicule/saiku-basic-mariadb

Windows Installation

  1. Download installer
  2. Install Juju
  3. juju quickstart u/spicule/saiku-basic-mariadb

OSX Installation

  1. brew install juju
  2. juju init
  3. juju quickstart u/spicule/saiku-basic-mariadb

Vagrant Installation

  1. vagrant box add JujuBox https://cloud-images.ubuntu.com/vagrant/trusty/current/trusty-server-cloudimg-amd64-juju-vagrant-disk1.box
  2. vagrant init JujuBox
  3. vagrant up
  4. Access GUI at http://127.0.0.1:6080/ and install the saiku-basic-mariadb bundle from the charmstore
